The Conference on Forest to Reef was divided into six main thematic topics. 5 international panels of researchers and environmental experts from renowned institutions presented the discussion topic on 'The Role of the Blue Carbon Ecosystems'.

The panelists shared their expertise in climate science, ecosystem management and sustainable development as well as current research and best practices to support Brunei Darussalam's commitment towards environmental conservation and climate resilience.

The conference focused on promoting the growth of blue and green economies, including eco-tourism and carbon markets, while enhancing capacity building, education and professional networking in biodiversity conservation, climate adaptation and disaster risk reduction.
